Hello World

My name is Jason E. Ford, and this is my site. I’m a native, and current resident, of the Knoxville TN area. Knoxville is in the Tennessee Valley; a valley comprised of the Great Smokey Mountains and the Cumberland Plateau. This topology created a significant number of small mountain towns. With the recent interest in Geo-tourism, the ability to work “anywhere” and good old entrepreneurship, a lot of these little towns are becoming “destinations”, equipped with shops, restaurants and brewery’s! Which to me is a great thing as one of my favorite things to do is explore these small towns and natural beauty of this area. Hence my site – The Road. The overall direction of this site is rather… fluid! I didn’t really have a plan, I just wanted to learn WordPress and like most men, I decided to not read, plan, think; but rather jump in an hope for the best. However, I think quite a lot of the site will be dedicated to the exploring I like to do. I’ll also sprinkle in some hobbies and work things as I go… Since my “planning” is live, please forgive any unfinished things. If you want to comment, please do – but as they say: “Don’t be evil” – hopefully Google doesn’t remove me for using that!
